My takeaways from developing my website

Sourcing the Product

I learned the importance of having a structured approach when making decisions, especially when comparing different options that may feel like “apples to oranges.” This concept was really brought to light during a discussion about how to choose the best business idea based on objective criteria. I realized that, to make an informed decision, I need to break things down into quantifiable parts—just like choosing a restaurant. For example, in a restaurant decision, I could compare factors like food taste, promptness, and price by rating them on a scale and assigning weights to reflect their importance. This process helped me understand how to evaluate business ideas, such as measuring demand using tools like Google’s Keyword Planner, which provides concrete data on search volume. Overall, I saw how breaking a complex decision into smaller, measurable steps makes it easier to compare different alternatives and arrive at a more logical conclusion.
